Quality diagnostic equipment is used at the Animal Medical Hospital to accurately diagnose patients. Digital radiology gives the best quality image available and is a part of our high quality in-house diagnostics.
Digital x-ray is imaging without using film. The image is captured using sensors instead of photographic film. The electronic data can then be viewed on a monitor and/or stored on a computer disk.
This technology offers our doctors improved imaging quality and decreases the patient’s exposure to radiation by limiting the amount of retakes. With this diagnostic tool our veterinarians can identify conditions such as:
- Neurological Disorders
- Lumbosacral Issues
- Spinal Fractures And Compressions
- Cervical Instability
- Herniated Discs
- Cardiopulmonary Conditions
- Joint Instability
- Intestinal blockage And Foreign Bodies
- Abdominal tumors
- Bladder stones
